Exciting Returns: Harrison and Foketi Make Debut Matches of 2024
Head Coach Darren Coleman is pleased to announce the return of Will Harrison and Lalakai Foketi for their debut matches of 2024.
Resilience and Strength: Harrison and Foketi Return to Waratahs
Harrison and Foketi’s returns are portrayals of tremendous resilience and mental strength.
After a series of heart breaking injuries, this will be Harrison’s first Super Rugby Pacific game in 707 days, whilst Foketi was hospitalised with a neck injury during the pre-season, but after being cleared of any serious cervical spine injuries, he’s fought his way back into the team.
Tactical Adjustment: Waratahs’ Bench Bolstered with Harrison and Foketi
The addition of Harrison and Foketi to the reserves will result in the Waratahs bolstering their bench with an additional back, while Triston Reilly and Fergus Lee-Warner will be omitted from the 23.
Lineup Alterations: Ross, Sinclair, and Swinton to Start
Among the alterations to the line-up following last week’s Golden Point defeat against the Drua, Tom Ross, Hugh Sinclair, and Lachlan Swinton are set to start, while Harry Johnson-Holmes and Ned Hanigan will transition to the reserves to offer additional impact.
