Warriors coach Andrew Webster has been forced into making a couple of big changes to his side following the injuries to Te Maire Martin and Wayde Egan. Dylan Walker moves to the halves to cover Martin with Taine Tuaupiki, who was a late inclusion last week — retaining his spot on the bench as a utility. Freddy Lussick will line up at hooker. Meanwhile, skipper Tohu Harris returns at lock, pushing Jazz Tevaga back to the bench, and Dallin Watene – Zelezniak has missed out on the 17 despite starring in NSW Cup last weekend. Dallin scored four tries in reserve grade last week and I expect him to play this week even though he is named on the bench.

The Cowboys will be boosted by the return of star duo Murray Taulagi (knee) and Jeremiah Nanai (suspension). Brendan Elliott makes way for Taulagi, while Nanai is a straight swap for Griffin Neame, who has suffered a throat injury and out for 8 weeks.
All of the last seven teams who lost to Newcastle have lost their next game. The Warriors beat this team in Townsville in round three 26-12. Both will be after the win as they both lost last start.

This is a tight one and both sides need to win. The Warriors will have the backing of the crowd, and both sides have travelled a long way this season.
