Well, have these Thursday night games been a cracker and this week is no different. While the Roosters have not been as good as some thought they have won two from three and had the bye last week which will help. Waerea-Hargraves and Brandon Smith will start for me, and that will help in the early stages of the game. The chooks have won the last eight games against Parraamatta while Joseph Manu is out suspended for one week.
The Eels finally recorded their first win of the season at start 4, and to their credit, it was a good one. In games that aren’t the 2022 Grand Final, they’ve been decent against the Penrith Panthers recently, and last week’s win was a deserved one. The first two losses were by only four points each and with some luck they can win this. They will miss Junior Paulo who is suspended for two games especially up the middle.

PREDICTION.
Both sides can win this game and I think it could come down to a ref’s decision or a sin bin or similar. For me the Roosters will be favorites especially after the bye but the Eels are a determined bunch. I like the Roosters minus 2.5 points @$1.69, but also the Eels plus 7.5 points @ $1.70 .This will be close so look for a points start.
