The Titans will play at the new Allianz Stadium for the first time.

Roosters winger Dominic Young has scored 15 tries in 12 games at Allianz Stadium.

Sam Verrills and Reagan Campbell-Gillard are the only Titans who have played at Allianz Stadium.

Best Bet. Roosters in a tight game.

Game 2

Brisbane Broncos v Redcliffe Dolphins,

Suncorp Stadium,7pm.

The Dolphins are looking to recreate last year’s impressive performance as they aim for a consecutive win in the Battle for Brisbane.

Under the guidance of Kristian Woolf, the team will need a significant turnaround in form to replicate their 40-6 triumph, with the Dolphins still chasing their first victory of the season.

While they got off to a strong start against the Wests Tigers last week, they faded in the second half.

Woolf has stuck with the same 17-man squad as they chase their first win of the season. Jack Bostock and Kulikefu Finefeuiaki returned from injury last week after missing two rounds, while Connelly Lemuelu (eye injury) is expected to miss two more games. Kenny Bromwich remains on standby as the 18th man.

Fullback Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow will be crucial to the Dolphins’ chances at Suncorp Stadium on Friday night. The representative star is expected to cause plenty of headaches for the Broncos’ defense.

The Broncos bounced back last Friday with a 26-16 victory over the Cowboys and are now aiming for a second consecutive win against their in-state rivals.

Last year’s defeat to the Dolphins was the Broncos’ first loss in the “Battle for Brisbane,” and the memory of that loss is still fresh.

A big boost for the Broncos is the return of center Kotoni Staggs, who has recovered from a quad injury that kept him out of the first three games of the season. As a result, Deine Mariner makes way in the squad.
