Major headaches for Bulldogs coach, Cameron Ciraldo this week with the backline being hit by the injury to Jacob Kiraz. Also out with injuries are, Josh Addo- Carr, Vilaline Kikau, Luke Thompson and Franklin Pele.

With Jacob Kiraz’s MCL injury and Viliame Kikau’s training mishap the latest blows to hit the Bulldogs they’ll need co-captains Reed Mahoney and Matt Burton and forward leader Tevita Pangai jnr to stand tall if they are to return to the winners’ list.

Matt Burton and Kyle Flanagan have switched places in the halves with Burton to play halfback and Flanagan five-eighth.

Declan Casey has claimed his spot on the wing, while Braidon Burns takes the No.5 jersey with Jayden Okunbor moving back to the bench and Jackson Topine dropping to the reserves.

Jake Averillo and Andrew Davey have both been included despite suffering injuries against Parramatta and will be closely monitored.

Skipper Dale Finucane has two more games to serve on his suspension and will return for Magic Round in Brisbane.

The Sharks are 3-3 on the season after beating the Roosters for the first time in seven clashes on Friday and now look to build momentum on the back of playmaker Nicho Hynes, who has racked up five try assists and seven line break assists in his three appearances this year.

Prediction.

Sharks winger, Ronaldo Mulitalo has scored seven tries in the last five matches, so any time try scorer is a good bet @ $ 1.53. Add the Sharks to win, 13 plus points, @ $1.71. The Dogs have lost seven players from the team that kicked off in round 1. You can back the Dogs with a 17.5 points start @ $1.71,but that may not be enough, as I think the Sharks will smell blood and win well.
