Valynce Te Whare

Kodi Nikotima has been cleared to play after escaping a ban for a lifting tackle. Skipper Jesse Bromwich makes a timely return from an illness, pushing Mark Nicholls back to the bench. Meanwhile veteran prop Jarrod Wallace is out due to concussion protocols with J J Collins the new man on the bench. Robert Jennings is also back.

Coach, Wayne Bennett takes on his old club ,the Rabbitohs after coaching them in 2021. Both teams had wins last week, but this may be a step up for the Dolphins this week. They have surprised a few sides this year so do not write them off here. They have proven to be a gutsy side and extremely well coached.

Rabbitohs team:

1. Latrell Mitchell 2. Alex Johnston 3. Isaiah Tass 4. Campbell Graham 5. Izaac Tu’itupou Thompson 6. Cody Walker 7. Lachlan Ilias 8. Jai Arrow 9. Damien Cook 10. Thomas Burgess 11. Keaon Koloamatangi 12. Jacob Host 13. Cameron Murray 14. Jed Cartwright 15. Daniel Suluka-Fifita 16. Davvy Moale 17. Hame Sele 18. Taane Milne 19. Blake Taaffe 20. Ben Lovett 21. Michael Chee Kam 22. Tallis Duncan

Winger Alex Johnston returns from a concussion, while Izaac Tu’itupou Thompson has overcome an ankle injury suffered last week to line up on the other wing. In a big boost for the Bunnies Jai Arrow returns from a hamstring injury to play his first game since Round 1. He is a straight swap in the front row for Tevita Tatola, who is out with a knee injury. This team has fire power all over the paddock and will certainly make the top eight later in the year.

PREDICTION

I noticed the state of Suncorp Stadium last week in the Broncos V Canberra game last week how poor the surface was and cut up badly. Lets hope the ground staff can fix this quickly. For a major stadium it is not good enough.

I love the game of the Dolphins, but I really think the Rabbits have too much power all over the paddock so I am going Bunnies minus 6.5 point @ $1.56, Or, Take the Dolphins with a 14.5 point start @ $1.64 This is a great lead in any game, so think about it carefully.
