NRL, ROUND 5, APRIL 2nd, 2023 NZ WARRIORS v CRONULLA SHARKS

Rugby League

POINTSBET STADIUM,NSW

Sharks team:

1. William Kennedy 2. Sione Katoa 3. Jesse Ramien 4. Siosifa Talakai 5. Ronaldo Mulitalo 6. Matt Moylan 7. Nicho Hynes 8. Toby Rudolf 9. Blayke Brailey 10. Braden Hamlin-Uele 11. Briton Nikora 12. Teig Wilton 13. Dale Finucane 14. Cameron McInnes 15. Royce Hunt 16. Jack Williams 17. Braydon Trindall 18. Connor Tracey 19. Thomas Hazelton 20. Mawene Hiroti 21. Samuel Stonestreet 22. Tuku Hau Tapuha

Braydon Trindall is the only change, coming in for Oregon Kaufusi (concussion) as Craig Fitzgibbon sticks with the same starting side that destroyed the Dragons.

The Sharks looked dangerous last week giving the Dragons a towelling in the 40-8 romp. With Nico Hynes, the reigning Dally M winner, back from injury the Sharks look to be a better side and they have ball runners all over the park.

Warriors team:

1. Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad 2. Edward Kosi 3. Viliami Vailea 4. Adam Pompey 5. Marcelo Montoya 6. Ronald Volkman 7. Shaun Johnson 8. Addin Fonua-Blake 9. Wayde Egan 10. Bunty Afoa 11. Jackson Ford 12. Marata Niukore 13. Tohu Harris 14. Dylan Walker 15. Bayley Sironen 16. Jazz Tevaga 17. Tom Ale 18. Josh Curran 20. Taine Tuaupiki 21. Freddy Lussick 22. Rocco Berry 23. Demitric Sifakula

Ronald Volkman replaces Te Maire Martin,[concussion], and hooker Wayde Egan (concussion) returns. The kiwi side has lost 10 of the last 12 here in the Shire, and have not won here since 2015.The Warriors drift in and out of games and will need an 80 minute game to win here.

While they look to be a better side this year, I think they will face tough opposition here for the Sharks home game in front of the Sharks fans who are passionate about their team.

PREDICTION.

I am going for the Sharks here with minus 10.5 points @$1.90,

if you are a Warriors fan look at a 13.5 points start @ $1.70 It may not be enough points start so be careful.
