With forward Joe Tapine suspended, head coach Ricky Stuart has shifted Josh Papali’i to prop and named Morgan Smithies as a starting lock. England-born Matty Nicholson has been added to the bench.

In the backline, Albert Hopoate comes in to replace winger Xavier Savage, who is serving a one-match suspension. Danny Levi has been named as the 18th man reserve.

Broncos: Winning form is good form for Michael Maguire, who goes with an unchanged 17 for the road trip to Canberra. Jock Madden has recovered from a hamstring injury to be in the extended squad and Tyson Smoothy is again 18th man.

The Raiders surprised everyone in Vegas with their impressive victory over the Warriors and return home after a two-week break to face the flying Broncos. Brisbane absolutely battered the Roosters last week and will take a lot of confidence into this as their new-look spine benefits from that first-up run together. Ricky Stuart will have the Raiders geared up for this clash, but the Broncos should be too strong.

Broncos for me. They looked good last week, while the Raiders played a very poor Warriors side..
