Return of O’Connor and McDermott

James O’Connor and Tate McDermott are set to make their comebacks for the Queensland Reds in Friday night’s match against the Melbourne Rebels at Suncorp Stadium.

The duo will be experienced finishers from the bench for the Round 12 clash in Culture Round for Super Rugby Pacific.

Changes in the Line-up

Sef Fa’agase will take the starting position at loosehead prop, marking the sole alteration to the starting lineup that demonstrated exceptional performance in Christchurch last weekend, securing a historic 33-28 victory against the Crusaders.

This upcoming match will mark the season debut for utility back O’Connor, who has diligently recovered from injury. Meanwhile, halfback McDermott will return to action after a three-game absence.

Key Players

Lawson Creighton had a really positive game against the Crusaders last weekend. He will assume the role at No.10, with his game management and kicking prowess once again proving crucial.
