Waratahs vs. Blues: Round 4 Clash Preview and Predictions

High Stakes at Allianz Stadium

The Round 4 action comes to a close at the Allianz Stadium where the Waratahs will go in search of their second win of the campaign when they take on a Blues outfit that suffered their first defeat of the season in a Kiwi derby last week against the Hurricanes.

Tahs’ Unfortunate Stumble

The Tahs were incredibly unfortunate not to secure consecutive victories over New Zealand opponents, delivering another impressive performance against the Highlanders last week. However, their efforts fell short as they narrowly lost 21-23, with a late penalty shot narrowly missing the mark.

Blues’ Battle with Defeat

The Blues faced a defeat in Round 3, falling 29-21 to the Hurricanes. Despite an enhanced performance in the second half, they couldn’t overcome the 24-7 deficit they faced just after halftime.

Prediction.

Injuries have forced the Waratahs to make sweeping changes against the Blues, with an entirely new front row.

The odds were already stacked against the Sydney-based side, with the Blues winning nine on the trot against them.

This will be tight so be careful. Under 55.5 points looks good, and I will go with the Blues.
