PREDICTION
We’re off to the nation’s capital for the final game of the week, and the Raiders will start favourites against the Sea Eagles.
I had the Raiders running about 15th this season, and while their start to the season backed up that prediction, there is no denying they’ve turned into a decent and competitive side.
Their Round 11 win over the Eels was their fifth in succession, and they’ve climbed into the eight!
The Sea Eagles, meanwhile, have experienced almost the exact opposite to the Raiders, starting well and recently, going to water.
I’m of the opinion that the Raiders probably do win this one, but the Sea Eagles did show enough in the second half of last week’s performance to suggest this might be close. Because they are at home in cold Canberra I will back the home side to win by 3 points.
